Context
Product information (PI) documents deliver a clear and compact summary of a scientific reagent. It combines product features summaries, handling guidelines, kit contents information, usage tips, and protocols to guide researchers in making informed decisions and achieving consistent, reliable results in the lab.
Contribution
From 2021 to the present day, I’ve authored, edited, and translated PI sheets. These documents are utilized by customers worldwide and are crucial to the correct usage of Biotium’s products.

01. Product information documents
Context
For biological reagent companies, Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) serve several critical purposes that blend regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and customer communication. These documents are required by law under systems like OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) in the U.S., the European Union’s REACH / CLP, and the United Nations’ Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS).
Contribution
For the past 4 years, I’ve authored and edited the majority of the SDSs at Biotium. Additionally, I was involved in the implementation of a new SDS authoring software that significantly streamlined the authoring process and improved the accuracy of these documents.

Context
Product brochures and flyers are designed to give researchers a concise, visually organized overview of the company’s product lines, their applications, and key benefits. Each brochure distills complex technical information into clear product summaries, comparison charts, workflow diagrams, and application examples, helping researchers quickly identify the most suitable reagents for their experiments.
Contribution
I’ve created brochures and flyers for a variety of products specialized for biological research. The topics of these brochures include cellular membrane stains, antibodies, and reagents for neuroscience applications.

Context
Highlighted citations and literature digests showcase peer-reviewed studies in which a company’s products have been successfully used. These documents help to build scientific credibility, illustrate real-world applications, and guide other researchers toward relevant product-paper pairings.
Contribution
At Biotium, I authored highlighted citations and literature digests highlighting product features and real-world research applications. I was responsible for writing documents based on academic research publications and conducting literature reviews to identify relevant papers to include.
